"Rick, I would like to thank you for all your hard work and your professional way of helping the youth at not only Strikz but the McKinney Boyd High School Bowling Team. All of the Students look up to you and never question you about why you are asking them to change the way they are doing something in their bowling. They just listen and try their best to do what you have shown them. I have seen a great improvement in our team and I am sure that we will see even greater improvement the rest of this year and the years to come. On a personal note thanks for helping with my bowling as well. As the years have gone by, I sometimes think that I should still be able to bowl as well as I did in my younger years. You and I have worked together for the past two years finding ways that with using the new type of equipment and small changes to my bowling style that I can still stay up with you young guys. OK, just part of the time. Thanks Again ..." Les Cline....Head Coach McKinney Boyd Bowling Team
"Rick gave me 1 lesson and I mentioned to him I average about a 150 and never bowled a 200+ game. He said that most people that he gives lessons to will bowl a 200 or better within a few weeks. About 8 days later, I bowled a 214!" ... Bill Hipple.
"It was truly lucky we were referred to you by Strikz bowling alley. Our son had just started to get excited about bowling when you came into our lives. Rick, we can't thank you enough!!! Your coaching skills are so professional, nurturing, and instructive. Our son Ryan grew by leaps and bounds over this past year and is seriously considering becoming a professional bowler because of YOU!" Whether it's professional OR just a life long hobby, bowling has certainly become a staple at our house. We are impressed with you and the way to you teach the basics of bowling while making it fun and enjoyable. We've watched you teach the little ones, teenagers and adults and you have such an easy and inviting way about you with all ages. Thanks Rick for all you do!!" ... All the best, Cindy, Bruce and Ryan Yablonsky
"I started bowling again about 3 years ago after a 18 year layoff. Of course, I went out again and bought new equipment. I bowled ok for a couple of years, but never great. My consistency was all over the place, and I struggled outside of the standard house shot. I asked Rick to take a look at my swing, and within a few minutes, he was able to identify a couple of flaws, and gave me key thoughts to focus on. He encouraged me to practice the changes, and almost immediately, I noticed I was much more consistent in my delivery, carried strikes better and my scoring has consistently gone up. As a added bonus, the changes in the swing has eliminated pain I was having in my knee and hand. I highly recommend Rick for the new or the experienced bowler who wants to get better.. Thanks Rick.." Rob Cox
"Rick has the ability to convey bowling techniques so that it feels natural for you. Everyone that I have seen listen to Rick's advise has improved immensely. This last year, I switched from a conventional grip to a finger tip grip, and Rick help me improve my average about 30 pins and get most improved bowler for the season. I look forward to this years season with Rick's coaching." ... Brian Holland.
"I started bowling on a league a couple of years ago, for the first time since I was a teen. Before meeting Rick, my average was consistently in the 125-135 range. After just 2 lessons with Rick, I started on a new league and set my average at 158. The very next week, I surprised myself by beating that average on every game. I raised my average to a 164, bowled my second 500 series ever, and even managed to pick up a split I never would have dreamed I could pick up. I'd highly recommend Rick to anybody who wants to improve their game! Thanks Rick!"....Sarah K.
